SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be free of debris, dirt and dust, grease, oils, curing agents, and cleaning solutions.

Glossy or painted surfaces must be sanded and cleaned to ensure a proper bond.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Each 50-pound bag will generally require 1 to 1-1/2 gallons of clean water depending on the application.

3. Start with 3/4 to 1 gallon clean water.
4. Add bag of foam coat and mix until material is thoroughly saturated.
5. Add the balance of the required water and mix for 5 minutes; be sure that the product is thoroughly mixed.
6. Let the blended material sit for 5 minutes, then remix to break the set before any application.

SURFACE COATING
Stonecoat should be applied with a coating of 3/16?to 1/4?thick to the foam shapes, and can be applied
either by a machine or by hand.

MACHINE EXTRUSION APPLICATION
1. Follow procedure for normal mixing instructions, but after foam coat is mixed, let it sit for 10 minutes then remix to break set.
2. You must obtain a creamy consistency for proper machine applied application.
3. When coatings over 3/16?are desired, 2 coats may be required allowing first coat to dry before second coat is applied.

CURING
All coated shapes should be moist cured and allowed to dry is a shaded non-windy area.

Allow a minimum cure period of 24 hours before applying an exterior finish over the coated EPS shape.

CLEAN UP
